Collection: Camp Don Lee

Since 1948, Don Lee Camp & Retreat Center has welcomed generations of campers, staff and visitors to the banks of the Neuse River in Arapahoe, North Carolina. This stretch of riverfront has been the setting for sailing, lifelong riendships, cannonballs off the dock, songs and cheers, and the kind of faith and community that sticks with you long after the summer ends.

Beyond summer camp, Don Lee has also been home to countless retreats, youth groups, student field trips, and special weekend events — all part of the extended family of visitors who've found something special here — a place that God has blessed.

For those of us who grew up here, "Don Lee" isn't just a place . . . it's home . . . it's a feeling. It's the smell and sounds of nature; it's the breeze off of the river; it's the joyful noise of the young and not so young; and the memory of counselors and staff who become family. And for the campers still to come, it's a new chapter waiting to be written on the very same shoreline.

This site is a labor of love and respect from alumni and friends of the camp — not an official Don Lee store — created simply because we love this place and want to help spread the word. Every shirt, sticker or other piece of merch is a small way to carry a memory of the river with you, wherever life takes you next.
